OUR STORY
Skull Padel was founded in 2022 in Amsterdam. It started with two things we love: the sport of padel and Mexican culture. Padel was born in Mexico, and we wanted to build a brand that celebrates that heritage and brings the sport to more people.
As we dug into the history of padel, we learned that the game started in Acapulco, Mexico, in the 1960s. Families played it in their backyards with whatever equipment they could find. Over time the sport became more structured and spread to Spain, Argentina and the rest of the world.

We were drawn to the spirit of the sport: the fast, dynamic rallies, the mix of skill and strategy, and the community that grows around every court. We believed there was room for a brand that lives those values and honours where padel came from.
So in 2022 we started Skull Padel in Amsterdam, with a clear mission: to grow the sport of padel and help players of every level improve their game and enjoy it to the fullest.
We chose the Mexican skull logo as a tribute to Mexico's history and culture, and as a symbol of strength, passion and determination, the qualities that win matches on a padel court. Together with designers and engineers, we developed full carbon padel rackets, bags, apparel and accessories that combine modern performance with a design you recognise straight away.

Skull Padel today. We are now based in Cruquius, near Haarlem and Amsterdam, and ship every order from our own warehouse in the Netherlands. Skull Padel players can be found in more than 80 countries, and more than 375 customers have left a review.
But we are about more than selling equipment. We sponsor players, work with clubs and resellers, and support events and tournaments to help the sport grow.
At Skull Padel, we believe padel has something to offer everyone, whether you are a seasoned competitor or just picking up your first racket. We are here to share our passion for the sport and the culture that inspired it, and to help as many people as possible discover the fun of padel.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We will keep growing, while staying true to our roots: Mexican culture and the sport of padel.
Greets,
Team Skull Padel
